To sign a financial statement, we use the following signature settings:


- In the case of a * .PDF file -> Signature format: PAdES

- In the case of a * .XML file -> Signature format: XAdES, signature type: surrounding

- For other files (if any) -> Signature format: XAdES, signature type: surrounding.


Signing the * .PDF file

- We run the SecureDoc 2.0 application

- Select the PAdES (1) format and add the file (2)


- We indicate the file with the file to be signed

- When the file is on the list (3) and press the button (4)


- We select the certificate with your name and surname and enter the PIN code.


Signing the * .XML file

- We run the SecureDoc 2.0 application

- Select the XAdES (1) format, the Surrounding (2) signature format and add the file (3)

- We indicate the file with the file to be signed

- When the file is on the list (4) and press the button (5)

- We select the certificate with your name and surname and enter the PIN code.


Other files

- We run the SecureDoc 2.0 application

- Select the XAdES (1) format, Internal (2) signature format and add the file (3)

- We indicate the file with the file to be signed

- When the file is on the list (4) and press the button (5)

- We select the certificate with your name and surname and enter the PIN code.


Location of signed files

The signed files are in the same folder as the source documents.


In the case of the * .XML file and other files, the signed file will have the same name as the original document and the * .XAdES extension

In the case of a * .PDF file, the signed file will have the same name as the original document with -sig at the end of the name.


Exceptions

The only exception to the rules for saving files signed in the SecureDoc 2.0 application will occur when adding a file to a signed * .XML document. In this case, no additional file will be created. The signature will be added to the * .XML file without creating a new file.
